Consignment Policy |

Ava´s Attic is happy to accept your items for consignment. We accept gently used furniture, clothing and home accessories. We will be happy to accept pictures via email of your larger items, or we can set up a time with you to view your items that you can´t bring in to the store. We will need an inventory list of the items you are consigning and the current condition of said items. Ava´s Attic will determine the selling price of all items based on age, brand, condition, and current market demand. You will receive 50% of the selling price of your item. Consigned items are displayed for ninety (90) days. After that time, they will be discounted based on the following schedule:
Items must be picked up within 7 days after the initial 90 day period should you not agree to the discount rate as listed above. Should an item not sell within the 180 day period, said item(s) must be picked up by you within 7 days. If not, Ava´s Attic will gladly donate your item(s) to Goodwill. We look forward to working with you and welcome you to Ava´s Attic. Our store is not liable for loss of consigned items due to fire, theft, natural disasters or any other unforeseen circumstance. Close-outs are completed monthly at the end of each month. I will email those Consignors who have a check ready to be picked up, no later than the 5th of the following month. Checks will be issued to Consignors with a balance of $10.00 or more. You can request your check be mailed to you for a charge of $2.00. |
